is
JESUS?
Jesus is considered the most remarkable man that ever lived. He is the centrepiece of our civilisation and is evident by whatever had happened before Him, we called it "BC" and what happened after him "AD". Not only was He human, He is the Son of God. He called Himself a Messiah. He was sent to live an earthly life without sin and died on the Cross to take the punishment for our sins. In doing so, He created for us a way back to God, freely offering forgiveness to all who believe in Him. This gift of eternal life is not based on good deeds we have done, but because God loves each one of us and wants to fellowship with us.
"I don't think you're let off easily by saying He (Jesus) was a great thinker or philosopher because, actually, He went around saying He was the Messiah. That's why He was crucified. He was crucified because He said He was the Son of God. So He either, in my view, was the Son of God or He was nuts and I find it hard to accept that all the millions and millions of lives, half the earth for 2000 years have felt their lives touched and inspired by some nutter. I don't believe it.

why did He DIE?
Jesus said He died FOR us. He did it because He loved us and did not want us to pay the penalty for the things we had done wrong. He did it for you and me. If there is only one person in the world, He would have it for that person. It is because of the death on the Cross, we can have freedom from guilt, addiction and fear. It also brings about freedom to know God, to love and to change for the better.
His death and resurrection brings HOPE.

We are created to live in a relationship with God. Until we find that relationship, there will always be an emptiness in our lives. It is a god-sized gap that only Jesus can fill. If you are looking for purpose in life or you are looking for hope. JESUS IS THE ANSWER.

Lord Jesus Christ,
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life (take a few moments to ask for His forgiveness for anything particular that you are struggling). Please forgive me. I now turn from everything that I know is wrong.
Thank You that You died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and set free.
Thank You that You offer me forgiveness and the gift of Your Spirit. I now receive that gift.
Please come into my life by Your Holy Spirit to be with me forever.

The best way to build a relationship with God is to read the very book He had inspired. The bible is a great way to get to know God. Ask God to speak to you while you read.

Start by speaking to God each day. Just as Jesus did, take time out each day to share your life with God through prayer.
CHURCH
Be part of a group of Christians who love to worship God. A community that hears what God is saying and encourages one another in the Christian walk.
